Laboratory is equipped with devices for testing of materials mechanical properties. The following devices are installed and calibrated: Universal testing machine, Hardness tester, Micro-hardness tester, Metallographic microscope, and devices for sepecimens preparation.
For electro-chemical testing potenciostat will be used as well as other instruments such is: corrosion cell, laboratory bath and distiller. These instruments will be used mainly for testing the corrosion of metals, particularly aluminium. Equipment for non-destructive testing of materials was purchased, one X-ray and one ultrasonic device.
